RED OWL BOXING’S HIT SERIES BOXFEST RETURNS TOMORROW, NOVEMBER 1 ON DAZN AT 9PM ET/8PM CT
HOUSTON, Texas – October 31, 2024 – Red Owl Boxing’s flagship series BOXFEST returns tomorrow, Friday, November 1, with can’t-miss action streaming live on DAZN globally in more than 200 territories and regions from the state-of-the-art “Owl’s Nest” in Houston at 9pm ET/8pm CT. All fighters weighed in on Thursday in Houston ahead of tomorrow night’s primetime event which features seven fights.
BOXFEST XII will be headlined by a battle of undefeated welterweights when Philadelphia’s Tahmir Smalls (11-0, 8 KOs) faces Georgia’s Seantorious Martin (10-0, 6 KOs) in the eight-round main event. In the co-main event of the evening, the conclusion of the Shadow FightGoods 140-pound tournament will play out when Dion Jones (7-0, 6 KOs) and Elijah Williams (9-1, 3 KOs) face off in an eight-round junior welterweight fight. Both fighters edged out decision wins in September on BOXFEST X to punch their tickets to the final round of the exclusive Red Owl Boxing tournament.
Five other fights will be included in the main card live around the world on DAZN including a six-round super featherweight fight between Joshafat Ortiz (12-1, 6 KOs), who is coming off a first-round knockout victory, and Travis Crawford (7-2, 2 KOs). In a six-round fight at 185 pounds, Nosa Divine Nehikhare (5-2) looks to get back on track after a tough loss on the undercard of Spence vs. Ugas when he takes on unbeaten prospect Saundre Simmons (4-0, 4 KOs) who aims to stay perfect in just the second six-round fight of his career on Friday night.
Also on the undercard, the son of former two-time cruiserweight world champion Steve Cunningham - Steve Cunningham, Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) - will put his undefeated record on the line against another unbeaten fighter, Rudy Reveles (1-0, 1 KO), in a four-round fight at 157 lbs.
In the opening fights of the evening, Gustavo Rivera Rio (10-1, 7 KOs) will face Joseph Cruz (9-10, 5 KOs) in a six-round fight at 132 lbs. and Santana Draper (1-0, 1 KOs) will return to Red Owl Boxing where he made his pro debut in September to take on Keith Foreman (1-2-1, 1 KO) in a four-round opening bout.
